HOW IT
ALL GOT STARTED
It all started years ago as I watched my Grammy in the kitchen. I remember visiting her and
she always had made yummy and beautiful cakes.
When I was young I would help my Mom make chocolate chip cookies (and I ate lots of dough too!).
My Dad was pretty handy in the kitchen as well and I remember helping him bake special cookies
at Christmas time.
I always enjoyed being in the kitchen and always wanted to make things that would light up a
smile of anticipation. I wanted people to ohh and ahh over the goodies I cooked or baked for them.
One little dream of mine was to take culinary arts classes. That seemed a little out of reach for
me at the moment so it went on the back burner. I tend to be a crafty person and am always in our
local craft stores. The cake decorating classes have grabbed my attention for years and years and
finally, I decided to go for it! I took my first class and was hooked. I bought all my supplies
and dreamed of doing cakes for a living.
Cake Decorating Classes
As far as decorating is concerned I have completed Wilton courses I, II, III as well as Wilton
Fondant and Gumpaste. If you are interested in taking
classes, I am now teaching private and group lessons in my home or yours!
Cupcake Parties
We are
now offering cupcake parties for kids and adults. Make
cupcakes from batter to decorations in my home or yours. Great
for birthday parties, girl nights or couples!
