​It all started years ago as I watched my Grammy in the kitchen.

I remember when we visited her she always made

yummy and beautiful cakes to welcome us.

Growing up my mom would let me help her make chocolate chip cookies (and eat lots of dough too!...I know, I know...). My dad was pretty handy in the kitchen as well, he and I would always bake and decorate

special cookies together at Christmas time.

I've always enjoyed being in the kitchen and making things that

would cause others to light up with smiles of anticipation.

I wanted people to ohh and ahh over the goodies I cooked or baked for them. This is my way of saying "I love you".

I love to bake people happy.

A little dream of mine was to take culinary arts classes. The cake decorating classes grabbed my attention for years and years and finally, I decided to go for it at the encouragement of my husband. I took my first class and I was hooked! I bought all of my supplies and dreamed of doing cakes for a living. After a few more classes, and being honored as a runner-up in a Taste of Home Magazine creative cakes contest, my dream became reality. In February of 2007 I accepted my first official cake order and the rest is history.

Today, nothing makes me happier than helping people celebrate their special occasions. Its a privilege to be a part of the important moments in life. I never want to stop baking memories for you.
